Students at the Center receive a primary education and vocational skills. The teaching plan emphasizes literacy, mathematics, and social studies.  Vocational skills include drawing, calligraphy, beadwork, jewelry design, and flower arrangements.

The effects of the Center’s comprehensive program can be witnessed in just a few months. When the students first entered the school, they did not know how to read and write. Within a year, many of the students have mastered basic reading and writing, mathematics, calligraphy as well as doing beautiful beadwork and other arts and crafts. Students’ academic progress is measured through written and oral exams at the end of each term to measure their academic achievement. The Center follows the national curriculum standards for elementary education. All these services have greatly increased the self confidence of the children at the Center and given them the hope and ability to shape a successful future.
